The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to members of Independent Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness. The standards include those required by the U.S. Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world.
Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5%, meet or exceed the standards, and of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this seal.

Our Mission
Disability Rights Advocates for Technology, DRAFT, represents people with disabilities who refuse to be defined by their disability and whose passionate enthusiasm for participating in life’s activities is supported by Universal Design and new and emerging technologies.
We provide advocacy and education services as an advocate for the adoption of Universally Designed Technology Solutions. We believe they are the only sustainable approach for continued improvement in quality of life issues affecting people with disabilities and senior citizens.
The opportunities these solutions offer for extending the independent life of the baby boomer generation and people with disabilities will provide extraordinary benefits to our society as a whole.
The issues focused on by DRAFT affect every citizen of the United States regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or income level.
